Meet THESE Kennedy's!
Welcome to our blog! I am very honored you've stopped in to check us out. :) Let's start with how Chris & I became Man & Wife. It involves black light golf, a nap at IHOP over a Denver omelet, and lots and LOTS of listening to God!! We were engaged four months after seeing each other (Sept '06) and married in another four month. April 28th, 2007 to be exact. We had a beautiful wedding and a relaxing honeymoon. Well that was seven years ago. Seven! That blows my mind!!
Meet Mr. & Mrs. Kennedy!
SO much has happened in the last seven years! But, we can still make each other laugh. :) We love Chinese food way to much! Chris invites me in to the world of comic books and super heroes and I insist on indoctrinating him to BBC America shows! :) We love on our fur kids, eating out, drowing our sorrows in Starbucks ;p, and making adventures. :)
He loves to ride his bike, play video games, watch movies and anime, and he loves to help mentor people of all ages in job searching- writing resumes, interviewing, etc. Chris's family was kinda nomadic, but he grew the value of true friendship. He participated in the Boy Scouts and earned his Eagle rank! Even now he is the Pack Leader of Pack #466 AND Den Leader for the Wolves and the Webelos. He is also using his business management & logistic training to teach at Legacy Christian University. For his "real job" Chris is civil servant for the Army in logistics.
I love to learn, especially documentaries on Netflix, and historical fiction. I also enjoy crime and true crime shows, but because I find criminal psychology fascinating. I also looove most BBC America shows! :) My obsession with Christmas MIGHT border on severe. Lol. I really enjoy trying ethnic food and enjoy being able to make them at home too. I love being home with our furr kids, since due to a chronic back pain, we make good company for each other. :)
Buck: Our Beagle Mix
Buck graced my life for eight years before going home to our Lord Nov. 10, 2013. He had a wholly unexpected and traumatic event- he had a seizure, stopped breathing, and despite of Chris best CPR, my beautiful boy slipped from us.

Tigger
Tigger is about nine-ten years old and is Chris's baby. :) He's sweet and kind, loving to watch birds through the window. He has a crazy purr too! People say he sounds like a bird!!
Hunter
Hunter's youth makes him a fun lively kiddo. :) He loves to pounce and attack anything the moves! But, he does love to sit or lay next to you for some petting when it fits into his schedule. ;) Oh! I forgot! Hunter's a bob tail! That makes him extra spunky too. :)
Lana is our newest and youngest member of the Kennedy household. :) As rushed as it felt, we ended up in a position to adopt little Miss Lana from a beagle rescue. She's about a year old and is chocked FULL of energy! She is such a cuddler too. :)
*Since this original post, Lana is nearly two years old. She has put on 4 lbs and 3" in height! Boy, was potty training fun with the winter we had this year! 2 or 3 snow falls and many MANY single digit nights! Not fit for man nor beast for sure! Well, by now she's 90% trustworthy in potty training and is so loving & playful. :)

Bagheera
Another angel baby. Bagheera was a beautiful "emo" black cat, Tigger's "brother". He mostly enjoyed botherning Tigger. :) Sadly he developed diabetes due to excess cortisone shots, and passed away in 2010.
