Forget the Plumber- Call Moses!

Wha? Right now our house is in a mess! About two weeks ago, Chris found a soaking wet spot in the carpet of our master bedroom. How? We're on a concrete slab?! We had no idea why or even HOW water was getting there?

Long story short, plus all flooring removed from both bathrooms and big holes in the dry wall, we found (well "we" is the water restoration company) a leaky drain line from the a/c up in the attic. 

The restoration had to pull up our bedroom carpet to dry stuff out, so we had to move into our guest room and sleep on a futon as well. Fun. 

For three or four days we had two dehumidifiers and six drying fans. Man did that grate on my nerves FAST! It sounded just like sitting in an airplane, but they also put off about as much heat as a space heater! Hot AND noisy! Blah!

But, I'm happy that right now all the equipment is out, the leak is fixed, and soon they'll be back to fix and replace all the damage. We're hoping to be able to do a little updating in there too. MAYBE even get Chris a whirlpool tub! :)
